But then again, i think it’s completely reasonable to be annoyed when you can’t leave an apartment building for an entire 72 hours and the few things you want to do, and that you thought might make this hellish weekend more fun, are just kind of blah.
“You think 435 fairly well to-do, mostly white men, should make that decision?”—
Anthony Weiner advocating that the decision for what women should be able to do with their bodies should be a decision made between a woman and her doctor, not determined by a committee of congressmen. Video here. (via soupsoup)
A while back I bought tickets to see Florence and the Machine on June 14. I love Florence and the Machine and am realistic about the financial situation D and I will be in this summer. There probably won’t be much money for going out, so splurging no on a concert for later seemed like a perfect idea.
And it was.
UNTIL, Jack’s Mannequin released their tour dates. I have wanted to see Jack’s Mannequin live for years, but something has always got in the way. The only date that D and I could easily get to, is the date in Ventura. It’s June 14.
I know that it is ridiculous and their are people with serious problems, but realizing that I was thisclose to finally getting to see them is still making me blue. I don’t know what to do.
